My name is Mudya (pronounced Medea), a qualified clinical social worker and a trainee counsellor on my path to earning a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. With over eight years of extensive experience across various NHS mental health settings, I offer a deep well of knowledge and empathy in my practice.

Throughout my career, I have supported individuals grappling with a wide array of mental health difficulties in both inner and outer London settings. My expertise also extends to managing dual diagnoses, where mental health issues coexist with substance abuse, and providing essential crisis intervention.

Beyond clinical practice, my roles have expanded to include clinical, reflective, and professional development supervision. As a former operations manager with expertise in practice advice and support, I am uniquely positioned to guide NHS practitioners, particularly those in band 5-7 (and equivalent), seeking to advance their careers. My supervision sessions are tailored to enhance clinical skills, connect theory with practice in reflective ways, and support professional development for those aiming for specific roles.

At the core of my work is the empathetic and non-judgmental relationship I build with each practitioner. Utilising a blend of psychotherapeutic models—including CBT, Psychodynamic, and Person-Centered approaches—I customise my supervision to meet the unique needs of each individual. My solution-focused approach is designed to foster significant professional growth, whether through short-term or ongoing engagement.
